These Terms of Use govern your use of our website and your dealings with In & Outdoor Blinds and Shutters (“we”, “us” or “our”). By using our website, requesting a quote, or placing an order with us, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

We supply, manufacture and install indoor and outdoor blinds, shutters and related window furnishings. References to “our products” or “our services” include all goods and services we supply.

2. Quotes and pricing

Quotes provided by us are estimates only and may be subject to change following a formal measure and quote, based on site conditions, product availability or other factors. Prices are in Australian dollars and may be subject to change without notice, except where you have an accepted quote or order confirmation.

3. Orders and deposits

Orders are only confirmed once accepted by us, which may require payment of a deposit. Products are custom made to your specifications, and once an order has been confirmed, changes or cancellations may not be possible, or may incur a fee.

4. Measurements and site conditions

Where measurements are taken by us, we take reasonable care to ensure accuracy. Where measurements are provided by you, we rely on the accuracy of that information and are not responsible for errors resulting from it. Site conditions such as wall, window or door irregularities may affect the final fit or finish of a product.

5. Installation

Installation services, where provided, will be carried out with reasonable care and skill. Access to the property and a safe working environment must be provided. Any additional work required due to unforeseen site conditions may incur additional charges.

6. Payment

Payment terms will be set out in your quote or invoice. We reserve the right to withhold delivery or installation until payment has been received in accordance with those terms.

7. Warranty

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have products repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Any additional warranty we provide is in addition to these statutory rights and details will be provided with your order.

8. Cancellations and changes

Cancellation or change requests must be made as soon as possible. Because products are custom manufactured, cancellations after production has commenced may not be accepted, or may incur a cancellation fee to cover costs already incurred.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any loss or damage arising from our products or services is limited to the amount paid for those products or services, or to the repair, replacement or resupply of the products or services, at our discretion. This does not affect any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

10. Website use and intellectual property

All content on our website, including text, images, logos and designs, is owned by us or used with permission and must not be copied, reproduced or used without our consent. You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes.

11. Third party links

Our website may contain links to third party websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those websites.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a revised “Last updated” date.
